Balloon helicopter


Materials: two balloons; an air pump and scissors.

Inflate a balloon with a four—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first one—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Twist the second three—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third soft one—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 5). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme.

Twist the fourth two—inch bubble (Pic 6).

Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 8). This step is marked with arrows between points D and E on the scheme.

Twist the sixth three—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the second through the sixth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 10). This step is marked with arrows between points A and F on the scheme.

Push the rest of the balloon half way through the loop of the last five bubbles (Pic 11 through 13).



Twist the seventh thirteen—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Twist the eighth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the eighth bubble in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme. Twist the ninth six—inch bubble (Pic 16).

Lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 17). This step is marked with arrows between points H and I on the scheme. Force the eighth bubble half way through the loop of ninth bubble.

The rest of the balloon is the tenth bubble (Pic 18).

Use the second balloon to make the propeller/ flower 4 (Pic 19).

Lock the first bubble of the blue (the first) balloon between the bubbles of the propeller/ flower (Pic 20 through 24). Congratulations, you have made the helicopter. Have fun and happy twisting :)
